First of all let me say thank you to everyone's kind words and thoughts. I am starting to feel a little more normal, whatever normal may be.

I've put up a new chapter to Rising Above. It's a fairly short one but thankfully it isn't too bad. I called it Pas de Deux because it features two people. Who seem to have some sort of dance going on...but you will need to read it to find out why...

I will leave you with a cute shot. I just love this family...

Forgot to mention I updated my Bios page with Slim's...

  2. Thank you Beth. I would never have gotten through any of it without your help.

I actually didn't have any outtakes on this chapter or I would have posted one and just didn't feel like waiting forever for the game to load to take one but you know how much this cracked me up.

  5. Thanks Sandy! Glad you enjoyed the update and the little family pic with Slim, Bonni, and Will. I thought it was funny. I never did see her burn the pancakes and yet they were definitely dark. I just sort of went with it. Their expressions just screamed that conversation to me. If that makes sense.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
