Damn, and Double Damn!

How could I be so unobservant? I have been chomping at the bit to go see Appaloosa when it came out and checked today thinking I might try and see it tonight...and it was released a month ago? The closest theatre I could see it in is San Francisco at the Metreon (an IMAX theatre so that would be a bonus) but there is no way I will go to SF by myself to see it.

This just figures...

  1. I am so sorry you missed it!

And how funny My husband and I are planning a day trip to SF soon. Take the ferry and spend the day in the city. Catch a movie at IMAX then head home.

  2. LOL! Well you could catch Appaloosa there! I may have to drag one of the boys along with me. I hate going into SF alone...or parking there...or anything else. I'm not a city girl...

  3. That's such a bummer Gayl! I was "looking forward" to it too! I think I only caught one preview on TV though, so it must have been one of those films that slips under the radar and isn't advertised heavily. Not like damn High School Musical crap! (My opinion, LOL) And I love a good musical, but teenie boppers aren't my thing!

  4. I had seen a few previews on TV but never caught the date. And I don't watch that much TV so I sort of lost track. I should have put it on my calendar.

I may still drag one of the boys along...just what they need, sitting through a movie with me while I sigh over Viggo and Ed. They'll just love that...

  5. I completely agree with you, It's why we are taking the ferry. I grew up in Glen Ellen and Sonoma, So I prefer the quiet. 80) Well I hope one of your boys will go with you.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
