Passing Time

I have about 3 or 4 story threads warping through my head in light speed and have not been able to focus on any of them so I spent the better part of today creating and decorating for Wyatt's university years. Since the next chapter of Rising Above will focus on the beginning of his education, I thought there should be some new students as well. I am going to introduce a few in this post. They may or may not appear in the next chapter. I still need to write it! I will eventually post bios for them although I intend to post the Savage, O'Malley and Whitney bios first.

Meet the ladies...friends through high school and as close as sisters.

  1. of course I had to be first to comment! I also want people to see my comment (it gets pretty distracting sometimes when I type my comment cos I tend to read the first comments on post as I type, so I'm hoping people see this).

Gayl, I'm so excited to see how they (especially chloe/"me" lol) will be interacting with the boys and each other! Dark December and The Other side of the stage have so much male interaction but hardly female-to-female encounters, so this will be interesting (I'm bracing myself for catfights lol). All the other girls look sophisticated and nice! Jett's redhead looks like an Avril Lavigne of sorts, looks like a fun one. I'm sure I'll like them a lot! Oh and thanks for changing the hair too, felt really embarrassed about that :/.

    ANYWAY

To all who are reading this (and please do): Gayl has been so patient with me and so hardowrking in helping me create a self-sim. I think I almost made the process too tedious for her! She's been so gracious and so sweet-- such a nice person! It's such a BIG honour to be featured (not ME per se, but someone based on my likeness and to a certain extent my persona) in her incredible story. I can't tell you how happy I've been all week thinking about myself in Wyatt's story :D. It was mighty thoughtful of her to include me (cos she knows how nuts I am about her writing!). Gayl has done such an excellent job in replicating me and an even better job putting up with my "this may be too light, too thin, too thick etc".

Truckloads of props and hugs and inspiration and creative qi vibes to one of the best writers I know! <3 loves!

THANK YOU SO MUCH GAYL, it really really means a lot a lot a lot to me. Especially with RL stuff bogging me down (and with my insatiable needs to escape into another world a lot of times), you've created a GREAT/ PERFECT (and safe) alternative medium for my alter ego/ someone I wish I could be if things were my way. I like that you control where "chloe" goes cos you're such a fabulous writer and you've always got something interesting going on. You'll do just great with her! Long before you created me, I already loved the people and environment I'm in :).

  4. All right, now I am blushing and I haven't done that for quite awhile!

Thank you all...I especially love bringing the vision I get for people to light...one of the reasons I had a meltdown over my body shop crashing (along with my game, big time) Thankfully it is recovered.

These girls may look glamorous but they are down to earth focused young women. Fast friends. Hopefully you will meet them soon.

  6. I truly admire all that you do, especially the way you manage to Manage, LOL the emotions of an entire cast of characters. I know that can get very harrowing, and difficult at times.

Beautiful girls, great shots as usual and cant wait for the next installment.

I keep checking back everyday, at least every few days when I check to see how many have read my posts. LOL...

I am really looking forward to meeting them and seeing what types of relationships come from their college days.

    Bravo,
    Cherie

  7. Thank you Cherie! They did turn out rather nicely. I would have made a little more progress today but my game has been crashing all day. It's fixed now though so I expect to get back on track despite of few distractions.

I did post another chapter over at the Collective. I don't know if you have been following our progressive story over there...

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
