Bio Updates ~ Mitchell Family

I have posted bios of the Mitchell family on my Biographies blog (which I sincerely need to find a better name for). At any rate, you can find the entire Mitchell family here: Mitchell

I am working on an update for The Other Side of the Stage (as in the writing stage) but I have a pretty clear idea of where I am going with it. Also have some bits and pieces going on for Wyatt's story, Rising Above, as well. Hopefully by next weekend, barring anything unforeseen in RL getting in the way, I should have them ready to go. I wish I could update faster but it just doesn't work for me to try and stay on a regular schedule with it. I'm trying though.

Might focus on bios for the other two band members for Mercury Rising and the Savage family. Can't believe I have allowed that family to slip to the background again. I blame it on Cadence who has completely grasped my attention and won't let go.

Also on the To Do list is a revamp of this blog page. It really needs a fresh look don't you think?

  1. Bio for Slim. Please!

and Danny. both of them have soft spots for me.

god I would not even begin to tell you about redoing your blog. what a pain in the ass that is. I still cannot figure out what I am going to do with a new blog -- everything looks awful. but you will figure it out -- you always do!!

  2. Yes, I really do have to pay some attention to Slim. And Danny, who has been letting a few things slip when I least expect it. Had a whole conversation going while I was trying to sleep so of course I didn't write any of it down. But I think I remember it.

As for the blog...low on the To Do list but there for down the road. It's just a matter of uploading a template and making a new banner which will be the hardest part.

  3. Redoing the blog is a major pain, I concur. I haven't found one yet that has everything I want, and I suck at HTML.
And yes! We haven't seen much Slim lately, not since his spinout in his car (was that you or beth that did that)would look forward to his bio and story!
And gayl, I LOL when I read about the conversation while going to sleep, I thought I was the only one that did that! LOL! *must keep notebook by the bed* I get some good ideas while taking a shower, too! LOL!

  4. It was me that wrote the roadside scene. I will focus on Slim, I promise. I've just been too tired the last few days.

The funny thing about the notebook is that I have one next to my bed. That night however, I needed to get some sleep and I was NOT going to get up and start writing simply because he decided to chatter. LOL! I have taken to carrying a notebook with me everywhere though. I try to write thoughts down and fragments as well whenever they come to me.

  5. A good idea, carrying a notebook everywhere, I now have mine next to the bed, just before sleep seems to be the time the plots and conversations float through my head, LOL!
I will definitely be taking it on vacation with me!
Take your time gayl, no rush mate, I am in awe you manage to get done what you do!

I remember almost everything but I do keep composition notebooks everywhere and mechanical pencils. which I am addicted to. and which the dog eats. unfortunately they have not killed him yet. just kidding. ha ha...

  7. LMAO! You are so NOT kidding Beth! hehe

My problem is I can't always remember which is why I carry the notebook now. Too much going on that distracts me.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
