Chloe asked me about Jason's hair and it got me to thinking I never really did show them at young ages so I am going to post a toddler shot of each of them. As I mentioned in my comment to Chloe I did nothing to change their appearances except changed Cadie's hair when she became a child. And I may have changed her eyebrows...I don't like default eyebrows much and I can't recall if they changed on their own when she grew since I don't know if the game remembers there aren't toddler brows for some of the CC.

I loved these shots. And I realized that sometimes what looks like "brown" hair get categorized in the black bin so technically Jason's hair is considered black by the game even though it is a brown shade. Go figure. Although a blonde mother and black haired father I suppose could generate brown hair. I have to go back and see if his hair is considered black. Not that it matters much but I am curious about the genetics.
ReplyDeletewell in reality of course black and blonde can throw brown. Jason's brown hair is very dark, so might be considered black. now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing a blonde child from parents with black hair and blonde hair.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet indeed! Cute shots! I too, am fascinated with genetics in the game, I just grew up a baby into a toddler and Jesus, he looks like he has a monkey face, LOL! It is one ugly kid, maybe things will smooth out the older the kid gets,(hopefully) I also hate those default eyebrows, I change them as soon as I can.
ReplyDeleteI took another close look at Cadence and she grew into custom eyebrows like her mother so I guess it matters that they don't have child versions but they grow into them? I should look at her child face again...
ReplyDeletenow if the eyebrows change, that is really interesting. I cannot stand the maxis eyebrows -- they look like pieces of wood stapled to the face. I have resisted changing Rainie's because I am HOPING, fingers crossed, that she gets Cooper's eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteand yes, I have crossed two beautiful parents and got gorilla kids. or sometimes one human child and two monkey children. I don't like changing children born in the game, or at least nothing that would alter the face, so it is disappointing when that happens. Fortunately it hasn't happened with any character I give a damn about.
Oooh, so it always has been brown. I think the last shot I saw of them was a little darker so Jason's hair must've appeared black-ish. Or maybe I was too into wyatt to notice *shrugs*. But either way, I'm loving Jason's hair!
ReplyDeleteThe Mitchell kids look exactly the same as they do now! especially for the twins! The hair and the face, oh my, their faces really do look like a younger version of them. I must say though, that Jett looks very much like his Father, but the skin belongs to his mother. Jason on the other hand is a good mix of both. Cadence is more on Daddy's side too I think, but like Jett, she has mommy's fair porcelain doll skin.
The shots are so prettiful! glad you kept them! And thanks for taking the time to clear up my query, much appreciated! And don't force yourself to create a Chloe sim if it doesn't inspire you. I'll be super THRILLLLLLED to be featured in your fantastic bombastic, lovely story but I'll be happy all the same even if I was not cos you're such a good writer and shot taker. I have so much to learn from you and all the other sims 2 writers!
btw, this is a little random but do you have facebook? I might need some help on technical issues and I can't always use your comment boards for that sort of discussion :s. Is that alright?
Chloe, I don't use Facebook and am embarrassed to say that I have heard of it but don't know what it is exactly. I do have email and I have enabled my profile so you can pull it from there. Won't keep it there for long so let me know when you've grabbed it.

ReplyDeleteAnother thing I noticed however is that Jason and Jett don't seem to have either parent's brows...they look like default to me which I find odd. May change them but I'm going to take a closer look in simsPE first.
