This chapter is the last in this story arc, season, whatever label you want to give it. It has been written for awhile but getting shots was a struggle. I couldn't do it, not having the old lots anymore and not having access to the new ones, so Beth bore the brunt of that task and as usual made it a cinematic work of art.
Any further posts will follow a different story line, different characters and a different time line.
For anyone who still follows this blog, thank you for sticking around, offering support to Beth and to me. Life takes us in different directions, we change our ideas on what we want, and hopefully we move forward. My wish is that things get easier because this one was a bitch for several reasons.
I never thought I would welcome this arc coming to an end but I do. Chapter 23: Home

Outtakes and an Update

Alex: Why is there a glass over your head?
I have to admit at first I didn't realize Rob had a floating glass hovering above him. Thankfully I caught it in time. Below we have a bartender who clearly heard something that surprised him. If you want to know what, go check out the update.
As always, a collaboration.

After the Fact
This comes a little bit late since the update has been there for a while but I wanted to post this one with a warning - the update displays erotic images prominently in the background so if that bothers you, don't look. I probably should have put the warning in the update itself but whatever. Maybe you will see it here. No preview shot either. I'm sure you've already seen them somewhere or maybe the one on my last post.
As always this is a collaboration, done by two people, me and SB. It took a while for us to both get through it. Hopefully the next update won't take as long.

This Time I Mean It
We already had this one in the bag more or less. The sets and the shots were completely overwhelming. However, Beth found a spurt of energy and inspiration and rocked it with the shots. It was an important piece that we really did want to get out. After this, there really will be no updates for a little while.
Special shout out to Qui who worked with Beth to get poses down for the garden scene. We are both very thankful for such supportive friends. Thank you Qui.

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream

Gah! I slept for nearly 19 hours when I got home from work on Sunday morning. Woke up and it was Monday. I feel like I missed an entire day!
New update at Studio Time! Thirteen ~ He
Gorgeous shots by Beth. My jaw drops at the magic she makes.

Days - Studio Time Update

Gemma goes into labor. And some other things. I'm not feeling very glib tonight.
As always my thanks to Beth for some incredibly gorgeous shots. I want to live in her world...I wish mine were as stunning...

The Lost Episode
There is something about the mere millimeters that separate lips before they meet in a kiss that is so romantic...the anticipation, the rapid pulse.
We had hoped to include this piece in the last update but it wasn't meant to be. I'm glad that Beth pulled it back out and took another look. I think it resonates with where we are in the story.
Once more Beth has blown me away with gorgeous shots.

The Green Monster

Studio Time: Seven
I have been at a loss for words lately, words and inspiration. Trying to say something about this update is no different. There was another part to this but we kept vacillating between whose POV worked until we decided to shelve it (shelf it?) for next time. It was difficult to write but we managed to get what we needed at long last.
Beautiful, gorgeous lots and shots thanks to Beth's tireless efforts. I want to live in the world that is floating around in her imagination. She continues to blow me away.

Studio Time - Getting Warmer
Studio Time Six
Have you ever known what you wanted to say but could not get the words out? We have always known what we wanted in this piece, we've seen it and what is coming down the road. However actually having it come together was very very difficult. But it is a classic example of how we work the collaboration. Sometimes it takes lines of dialog being volleyed back and forth via email from one character to the next (yes, we did that, one line at a time in some instances) to writing exceptional scenes that just didn't fit in the long run.
We are both suffering through a tremendous drain in creativity and I am thankful that we are able to pull each other up the mountain to get on that next plateau. It hasn't been easy but I cannot say it isn't worthwhile once we arrive. This is why our collaboration works. It isn't about ego or time-lines. It is about the story we want to tell, the way we want to tell it and in our own time. We want to walk carefully down the path, not missing a beat, not straying from the map and that means that it can take longer than we want.

Turning Up the Heat
I think Shooter and Mackenna are very close to dethroning Aidan and Lakin and quickly becoming my new favorite couple. They are absolutely perfect for each other so far. Thanking everyone for pointing me in various directions to find what I needed. Please excuse badly Photoshopped accessories.
Particularly thanking my cohort in crime for going above and beyond once more in spite of the enormity of RL crap and frustrating roadblocks. Again, your grace knows no bounds. Thank you Beth.
We are getting very close to the long-anticipated auction which I hope will be full of surprises and worth the wait. We are truly enjoying the fact that we can take our time and do this right, we're having fun with this...I hate using the word "season" because that really isn't what this is...let's just call it our latest incarnation of our story about Cooper and Co.
Without further adieu, we give you Studio Time: Five.

Pent-Up Frustration
Some of you asked what Cooper has been up to all this time. This is a small glimpse...
Once again, game and PC issues along with real life made this a bit harder than it should be. We're working on resolving that...

Press Release - Studio Time
~ This is Blade wondering when I am going to stop blowing up his house ~
Introducing our newest project...Sessions ~ Studio Time. This blog will continue where Sessions left off. We are extremely excited about it and while it has the same look and feel of Sessions, we are going to explore a lot more. We already know where much of the first arc is going, we have new residents whose stories we look forward to writing about so add this bad boy to your blog rolls and Readers!
Honestly the fact that we were able to manage this with everything going on right now is a Christmas miracle of its own. Neither one of us can keep our games running beyond 5 minutes...
This first piece is longer than usual, heavy on images and done in a style we do not normally use. We wanted to do something different. We like it. We hope you do as well.
And I don't normally like to warn people since what we write is for adults but there is some skin showing in this one...
As always a collaboration. Studio Time ~ One

In Perfect Harmony
In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
