Ice Age

Pardon the terrible iPhone image...

I was complaining to glitterenvy in her post yesterday about the cold...she makes me laugh...

Thought I would post proof that even in sunny California it gets cold...this was at 7AM PST. My house is not that much warmer for those of you who remember my post about the small wall heater in it. At least the hallway gets warm. I stood in front of it last night. It stops feeling warm once you are about 5 feet away...

Brrr!!!!! Bring on spring please?

  1. Brr! It has been really cold lately! I don't even bother with my wall heater. We keep space heaters and then move them around where we need them. (Prep the bathroom or prep the bedroom, lol.)

Space heaters are probably going on clearance at Walmart and Target type places. I noticed Target already had out the two piece bathing suits the other day.

  2. That is true...space heaters are on sale! I should probably grab a couple including one for work.

I knew you would appreciate this post. It must be just as cold where you are, maybe moreso.

  3. I asked Jay if he's had any frost on the car window in the mornings, and he says no, so you definitely win. But my temperature range is so small living here, you know, anything above or below my 65-75 degree range and I think I'm suffering, lol.

  4. I don't want to win this one...at least this morning it wasn't so bad...I think it was 41 degrees when I left the house.

I hear you on the temperature range. I have a small comfort zone myself.

  5. LOL i am LAAAAAAAAATE in getting here, but damn, that is COLD for Cali... haha. Still no 17 degrees though :D Be happy. 34 would be like, an Indian summer for our winter.. if that makes any sense. Stuff would melt, in other words.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
