WTF

I am as baffled as she is right now about many things. Dad is hanging on although the clots in his lungs are still life-threatening, I am racking up miles on a rental car and am on a first name basis with the guy at the toll booth. I should get a discount on the bridge toll I believe. I am picking away at the next update when I can. It is a welcomed distraction from RL.

Many thanks to my friends who reached out when I needed it. You will not be forgotten nor will your kindness.

  1. Take your time, believe me, there is no rush. Glad it is a distraction though. And speaking of distraction, I just uploaded CS! *flog*

Answer me this, is the toll booth guy cute? *snort*

    Hugs and best wishes~

  2. You are doing remarkably well. A woman with less strength would be in bed complaining of a headache. Take care of yourself...

  9. Oh dear, another important update I've missed. I need to clear my cache files, I think. I'm very sorry about your dad's health woe. Feel free to take the time you need and I'm sure, if you need to, there's a shoulder or two for you to cry on, physical, virtual, or otherwise. Take care of yourself too, Gayl. Definitely in my thoughts.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
