I probably should be thankful that I was able to complete the shots I took for the next update of Sessions since I cannot keep the game up to save my life. I could not load the lot we wanted to use. Game kept crashing. Beth finally suggested an alternative that worked and I got the shots I needed.
The last time I tried to redo the neighborhood (this was awhile back, maybe a couple of months when we were settling Jimmy in) Melinda's lot was crashing constantly. I couldn't even get it to load. Since I hadn't packaged the lot after I had extensively remodeled it, I figured it was time for a new house. I wrote it into her story. Sort of. Today I attempted to move Thalia and Mel into it. Because I have an update written and I wanted to shoot it.
*sigh*
While I was able to get in, the upstairs bathroom needed a toilet moved (no problem there, I just turned it) but Thalia's bathroom seems to be unusable. I tried moving fixtures around. And then...it crashed.
*deeper sigh*
I don't know if I have the energy to even try and figure out why it crashes.
In other news, Gemma got knocked up. Yeah. Forgot to take the risky woohoo out of the DLs. I thought she was using protection. Let me tease you with the child's paternity why don't I? She had several visitors last night as well as contact with several other males. The list is long and distinguished. She only did the deed with one of them however. I toyed with terminating it but I couldn't. I'll let her have it. Might be an interesting child down the road since I do not plan on writing it into the story.

ReplyDeleteGemma's knocked up? O_o I hope it's not Jimmy's--that would kill poor Raine. I also hope for Cadence's sake that it's not Wyatt's, but I admit that it would make for some interesting storylines. At this point in time, my money is on Cooper.

Thanks Van. I concluded it isn't the lot but some piece of CC I downloaded. That narrows it down to the last several hundred files I've installed.

Hey Drew! Sorry for any spoilers. Gemma isn't a main character so writing a story line for her is pretty low on my list. I will keep the kid since I think he/she will be fascinating. Maybe he/she will show up as a townie/extra/love interest for someone.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your game. I hate lot crashes because there never seems to be real reason for it; no piece of CC that you know is the problem. I can't get a single community lot to load and it drive me crazy. Hope things get better for you.
Muzegoddess I had just got done saying how much better it was running now that I installed M&G. I'm sure it is an errant piece of CC.
