Afterwards we went to a Thai restaurant in one of the buildings at the Embarcadero and had appetizers and cocktails during happy hour. It was a challenge to focus on my speed vs. the overwhelming need to pee as I drove home.
OK just looked at the shots I took in the theatre. They're bad. So you get the Ferry building and the moon over SF Bay. It was way prettier in person. And If I didn't have to wait to get off the freeway to snap it, it would have been bigger, more orange and practically sitting on the water. Those smaller lights in the sky are planes coming in for a landing at SFO. Sorry about the quality, it's an iPhone...

We also have an update at Sessions. If Looks Could Kill.
Forgive the nonsensical post. I'm shattered. Foxed. Faced. Hammered. Pickled. Take your pick.
Gorgeous! I feel bad that Jay's been out here for 4 years now and I still STILL! haven't taken him to SF.
ReplyDeleteLunar you probably know right where this is then! 4 Embarcadero Center. Clay and Drumm. Ferry building right across the street. And the moon shot was at Coyote Point.
ReplyDeleteI don't go to SF if I can help it. I am directionally challenged. About the best I can do is AT&T Park without getting hopelessly lost, even with GPS...pathetic.
I hear you though. I think that's the main reason we haven't gone, because other than the main streets, I am hopeless. We'd probably end up just taking the Bart in and having to walk. I've driven in SF twice, and that was enough for me. I'm a nervous driver when there are other cars on the road, even San Jose is too much for me, lol.
ReplyDeleteSF has too many 1-Way streets. I used to know my way around and my husband used to be an SF cop so he always gave me directions if I had to go by myself. As for BART...I would end up in the East Bay. I have to do trial runs or else I am hopeless. And I've lived here all my life.
ReplyDeleteEven through the quality, you can tell that it's a beautiful view!
ReplyDeleteOooh, pretty. And you got visited by the shiny ball in the sky! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful that day Qui. Hot, clear, perfect.
ReplyDeleteRad the moon was actually big and orange. I wish the shot came out better. Even the reflection on the water was magical.
