An update (for those of you who don't already know) has been posted to Sessions. This, as with all the work we post, is a collaboration. The chapter is called Helpless and be accessed from the blog roll or by clicking here -> Sessions - Helpless.
Enjoy.

~ Cha-cha Changes ~
Or something like that...
Going forward, future posts to our work will be on a new blog called Sessions. The first chapter is already up and is called Blurry. This make things easy for us and less confusing for readers of our work. The table of contents at For the Music will no longer be updated but will remain since our previous work is listed there. So if you use that to follow our updates, you will need to change the link.
I would like to say that while you may want to know the back story, it isn't necessary in order to follow Sessions. Maybe we'll post a synopsis one day since I would never expect anyone to have the time or patience to weed through all that writing!
We are extremely excited about the look and feel of the new blog and hope you enjoy where the story goes!

~ Still Crazy ~
I had a delightful dinner last night with the boys and indulged in one of the local Pale Ales at the local brewery. Let me just say, I have no problem holding my liquor but that beer "done me in". My body screamed, "You've poisoned me!" as it rebelled quite vocally. I still feel the physical effects and I swear I only had one!
I woke after a nap and couldn't sleep so I finished a photo shoot I had been working on for a long time. I'm not particularly pleased with the shots; I find them uninspiring, or maybe it was the subject. Anyway, continuing the series from Chameleon, I present Rhapsody.

On another note, I have noticed that in Internet Explorer the images seem to pile on top of each other. Since I use Firefox I am wondering just how annoying that is for the IE users out there? Feel free to comment and let me know.

~ Thank You ~
I really wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me and followed my writing throughout the last couple of years. I hope I have grown as a writer and storyteller. I won't deny that I have had moments when I wanted to give up and walk away, when my morale was low or circumstances were more than I could bear. Writing has always been a way for me to work through the incredible weight on my shoulders.
Beth, these shots are for you. I can't say thank you enough for your incredible generosity and spirit. You have been an amazing friend and cohort. I'm looking forward to more collaboration down the road.
Where these two are headed is still anyone's guess. But I really loved these images.

~ Ramblin' Rose ~
I promise to have an update posted this weekend. The piece is written, the shots are taken. I am however struggling with the heavy amount of Photoshop that needs to be done. No way around it; it absolutely has to be done for the shots to work. So I've been working on them ad nauseam this evening and my wrists and hands are screaming at me to let it go. Did I mention I have repetitive stress injury? Not good for a person who makes a living using a computer. Shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands.
I've really been up and down this week, extreme highs and lows, not that I haven't been every other week, but this one has been...worse than usual I guess. No reason, it just is. So this is me, laying on the couch and feeling blue.

And this is a preview, a teaser, one of the shots that didn't make the cut. It was really just a preliminary shot anyway. Just to see how this thing was going to work. But the man is hot, hot, hot! He really rocked the house for me last night. Now if I can find that spark I need, I'll get the rest done.

Tell me you wouldn't throw your lingerie at him, or your hotel key, go on, tell me, I dare you.
*I'll probably end up deleting this post when I finally come to my senses*

In Perfect Harmony
In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
