~ Dark December: The Other Side of the Stage ~

Update to The Other Side of the Stage has been posted. I named it Incomplete. This chapter takes place during the same time as SB's Assumptions, only in a different location. I hope that isn't too confusing. I know B and I were scratching our heads over the timing...

Anyway, here is a preview shot. Embedded song is Incomplete performed by The Backstreet Boys. It is a bittersweet chapter. Endings, beginnings, and hope.

  1. One of the most astounding pieces you've created. Despair and hope. Beautiful. Haunting.

  6. Sandy - Thank you. That entire scene was very emotional and difficult. Ryan is truly hurting. I think this shot depicted his feelings really well.

Ashling - no worries! Thanks for reading.

  7. This is a wonderful picture! You can tell Ryan is really hurting. Poor guy. Doesn't he deserve to have some happiness too? LOL!

  8. Ryan does deserve some happiness and he will find it soon. But yes, he is hurting.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
