The Deep Breath

Getting reacquainted with my world in South Beach this evening was eye opening. I took some family portraits, chronicled a few things. I snapped away during Wyatt's last night at home and subsequent arrival at college. It really helped to move him to his college home along with Jason and Jett. I believe some creative energy was released as a result and hope to have something up very soon.

This first shot I could not resist posting. Talk about a fashion faux pas. Jason (in front) was none too happy with me for it I will say. Jett couldn't care less (notice the garb). Things just don't phase him and he is not as sensitive as his brother who is nine months and five minutes older than Jett. Wyatt seems to be channeling Grandpa Eric. Not for long however...

Here is the studly young adult looking very much like his father's son. Julia's eyes and brow but the rest is all Cooper. I must say he grew up quite well.

While you won't get the grand tour just yet, I thought I would share a few preview shots. Also want to mention that Beth completely designed the decor in Wyatt's humble college residence. Cooper needs to give her a big bonus for the fabulous job she did. I know the boys are thrilled with the comfortable space they have. I'm sure they'll get a lot of...studying done. They promised. I would have given you a preview of the Mitchell boys after they changed clothes but the game crashed. So much for reinstalling to rid yourself of those nasty gremlins...oh well.

Nearly done setting up the blog that will host Wyatt's story so stay tuned ~

  1. ooh exciting!

what in the world did the mitchell boys wear??? The santa claus outfit just cracked me up so much. The mitchell boys are mighty fine looking! That's it, I'm gonna be a tech geek and never fall in love with real men. I cann't imgaine how crazy i'll go when you do a video of the mitchell boys and wyatt jamming together. OH and the rolling stones covers, how'd you do it? so kitsch!

oh gayl, you really amaze me to no end! Everytime I come to your site, I feel so inspired and so many ideas spill for me. Loves <33!

  2. Just about choked on my coffee this morning when I saw Jason and Jett, and Wyatt in grampa's suit! Hysterical!

Great shots, and a really stunning young man!

  3. Chloe, I am thrilled that I inspire you! I think I managed to get some inspiration myself finally. The Mitchell boys really did change in appearance, more so than Wyatt who still looks like his teenage self to me (but then you can't mess with perfection right?) A video is a bit down the road but I haven't forgotten about it. I just need to focus on a few other things first. And i have some scripts in my head for a few videos so we'll see. Maybe when I have some spare free time...

The Rolling Stone covers are custom paintings that I created with simsPE, my images and titles with the Rolling Stone logo. Glad you like them.

LMAO Beth I took shots when Cooper took him to the house (you know the ones) Talk about a spit take. I managed to capture the streaker (male so I didn't get the same reaction you did) But I got some sweet shots. And then I realized I forgot to put Wyatt's car in the drive so I didn't save, moved the Mitchell boys in, and went back to the house. They were all dressed like that.

You can really see the difference in J&J now that they are YA. Jason is the spitting image of Heydon. It should be interesting toying with my first set of born in game offspring. (aside from Nic who is a complete joy except when he wakes from a nap)

  4. The young veal is looking very beefy indeed. He did grow up nicely. I do not have University so have no idea if they go from YA to A, do they change looks at all?
And the twins are also scrumptious little morsels. That first shot was a riot!

  5. There is a slight but (to me) insignificant difference in looks. They do mature though. I have noticed that their life experience seems to show on their faces. Compare the difference between the past and present for Cooper. He always looked haunted and now he is content. You can see that in his face.

OK I am rambling on and on. They did grow up nicely though. I'll post some shots of the transformation after I changed their silly outfits.

Thanks for leaving me your thoughts ~ they always mean a lot.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
