Most of you do not know this but Cooper has been with me for many many years. He took shape in my Sims 2 world last year in Dark December while I listened to Nickelback which is one of my favorite rock bands. Cooper's voice is what you hear when you listen to Nickelback.
With that in mind I took one of my most favorite songs and put it to a video tribute from Cooper to Beth. I am still learning the nuances of filming and unfortunately some of the video quality suffered a bit in the upload but that aside, I hope the sentiment and the emotion is what you walk away with when you view it.
Please enjoy the song Far Away as performed by Nickelback and Cooper Stanfield.
EDIT: I have also uploaded a cleaner copy at Stage 6. You can view it here: Far Away
Here is a still from the movie:

I cannot begin to describe what it was like to see this for the first time. Stunned. Overwhelmed. Sitting there in the middle of the night crying. One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, performed by Coop...most beautiful period, golden clear through. Thank you is far too poor a phrase to use, but the only one I have.
ReplyDeleteNo thanks are needed Beth. I have never, NEVER seen Cooper as happy is he is right now.
ReplyDeleteHe is beautiful...full of love and golden light. It was my honor to be the instrument to express his love.
Gayl, that was AMAZING! It was beautifully romantic, and sweet! The song and Cooper's performance were perfect! Gorgeous song! Another wonderful movie, Gayl, thank-you for sharing it with us! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to give you kudos for the wedding shot of Rafe and Gayl. It's puuuuurty. Puts me in mind of a good quality romance book cover. :D
ReplyDeleteGayl, that was a gorgeous wedding announcement you took for Rafe and Gayl! It looks very romantic! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Nickelback (and Three Days Grace) my fav fellow Canadian boys!! This was astounding piece of work, I am in awe! I could never do a movie...clap, clap, clap Wonderful!
ReplyDelete*holds up lighter*

Thank you for the lovely comments on my video...I really appreciate it. As for the wedding announcement, thank you also for the kind comments on both Beth's page and here.
ReplyDeleteNumi, I know keeping track of our "characters" can be confusing and I am working on a "Who's Who" of sorts that I hope to have posted soon. But since Beth and I collaborate, they cross over from one world to another all the time.
Tessa and Wyatt were "born in game". Tessa is very much her parents' child while Wyatt was not quite what I expected when he began flexing his muscles and voice so to speak. You'll just have to stay tuned!
Karen, I am also a huge fan of Three Days Grace. There isn't much out there I don't like in the way of music.
