Nearly two and a half years ago I did a photo shoot for a simgenix challenge based on the seven deadly sins. Mine was done on Lust. No surprise there right? I've learned a lot in nearly three years and I'd like to complete the set. I would love some feedback from anyone who reads this.
I considered doing the remaining six sins using the girls from Chameleon.
Clockwise we have Ambrosia, Sienna (standing), Marielle, Onyx, Lyra, Rhapsody. I am not sure that the remaining sins fit the girls' personalities however. Plus I've done photo shoots with them (except for Marielle and Melinda)
My other idea was using characters from our stories which would require some feedback from you, the readers. I hope I am making this clear...what I would like are some comments/feedback as to what characters would be interesting in a photo shoot of the remaining sins which are as follows:
Avarice
Envy
Gluttony
Sloth
Vanity
Wrath
It can be any combination of characters. I could even do a new one based on Lust if anyone would like to suggest who to use or would even be interested.

Those are very good suggestions...wondering if I should have included a question about what color is associated with those sins...
ReplyDeleteI am still catching up on this, so my opinion on who plays who would be inaccurate I think, but I absolutely love this idea!! I know the typical interpretation of Gluttony would be someone over-eating or something, but I've always felt it could mean being selfish in any other way, as well... like, with material possessions, or someone with a sex problem. I feel like those fall under that category as well. Although that's covered under avarice as well, so...

Vanity = White
Envy = Green (hah)
Wrath = .. well I would say red, but red works for Lust and that was the color you chose for that one too, so um... wrath wrath wrath. Gray? Black?
Sloth = like, muddy brown/moss slowwww like molasses, lazyyyyy like a muddy stream.
Gluttony = I don't know why but the girl from Willie Wonka pops into my head with the blueberry gum. So blue. :P
Avarice = that's a hard one. I wonder if it could be ALL the colors. Because it's wanting it ALL. Or maybe yellow would work, although yellow is such a cheery color it might be interpreted as being too sunny.

When I think of gluttony, I think of over doing it or taking too much, to me that's Gemma. Maybe because she's hungry for success and will do whatever it takes to get it.

ReplyDeleteActually, what I was picturing in my mind was Beth splayed on a sofa, Cooper standing nearby, back in shadow, Blade and Ryan, or any other men. I always got the impression Beth likes the attention of other men, but yes, her attention and direction is at one man only, the one standing the closest. Or, as usual, I am no doubt off base~*snort*

Hmmm...you know I agree with with Qui about avarice. Gemma is definitely the right choice. And Beth already said Cam for vanity which is soooo on point. Gluttony could be Coop. He wants his cake and wants to eat it too. And his last visit to Mel's shows that too. Jimmy could be envy. There's soooo much that other people have that he wants.
