Spinning Wheels

CH9-002
We are trying slowly to find a plot among all the fragments we have. It isn't working yet but we're thinking it through.

Thought I might throw up a shot of Julia and Gemma side by side (sort of) for those curious. Dug into the deep freeze and yanked Julia out so I could get a shot. They look the same and yet subtly different from each other. Might be the difference in personalities. I never really got into Julia's when she was alive. Maybe I can do a bio on her and bring some of that to light although I have no idea why. During the last couple of weeks I did manage to start mosaics and bios on a few people. They are still in the editing stages so I haven't posted them.

I don't know what I'm doing right now. Broken down on the side of the road without a map or GPS. Slippery slope and I just don't know which direction is best.

  1. Oh please PLEASE do a bio for Julia! She is such a pivotal character: Cooper's first love, someone he still remembers and dreams about; Wyatt's mother and she definitely had a huge influence on him. Maybe she's not really dead.

  2. Maybe just to tie it in for Wyatt although she really isn't pivotal or even remotely important. And you know she is dead.

  3. While they do look very similar I definately see the differences; still an uncanny resemblence for cousins. A bio for Julia would be great. I'd certainly be interested to know more about her.

And I'm right there with you on the side of the road plot wise. I've been hiding in the rest stop restaurant for longer than I wanted to. Ready to start the car, close my eyes and drive at this point.

Keep the faith, you'll get there.

  4. I'm trying to remember cousins in my family that look alike...can't recall. I don't know if I will get around to a bio. It might be nice to round out Wyatt's tree.

    Thanks!

  6. Christina, I meant to comment back but it just slipped my feeble mind. I did update my link for you on my Writers page however. I love the new site and the new bar! And I already subscribed to your feed!

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
