Not Wrapping Anything in Ribbons

Sessions has been updated with Chapter 17 called No Surprise

But to add to the surprise, Coop's new hair, bent, folded, mutilated and otherwise hacked up by me. I have been wanting to update his look for some time but could never find anything I really liked or that matched his hair color. This is as close as I have come so far and I'm still on the fence about it.

Song is #17 in the playlist, a new one by DAUGHTRY. It is definitely worth a listen.

  2. Thank you Drew! I won't even go into how long it took and how many times I started over with his hair. It is a drastic change but much more him.

    Totally thud-worthy

  4. He does look a bit younger doesn't he...Phoenix mentioned it looked like Wyatt for a minute. It takes a bit of adjustment for me when I see him now. It is a little jarring since it is so different. But in a good way.

  6. Thank you Muzegoddess! I like that hair too. If they had that out there all those years ago when I put Body Shop to work creating him, he would have had that hair or something like it.

  7. wow gayl! you edited his hair?? SB told me you edit quite a bit, like some of the tattoos on your sims..i'm in awe. i just dont have the patience for that sort of thing! unless..its horses of course (my halters and blankets are rather tedious to make).

  8. yes, xtina i did! i edit skins, hair, clothing, make paintings because i like the personal unique touch it gives.

but that hair gave me fits. i have slowly crawled toward understanding alphas and textures thanks to a bunch of tutorials. the light bulb finally lit up for me. his hair isn't perfect in how it ended up but if you knew how many hours, days i spent on it...

i am trying to figure out what i am going to do with Wyatt's next.

and your horses are wonderful! i can't wait to use your lot...it is perfect!

  9. gayl, i hope you'll get to use that lot soon! i want to see it put to good use!

Cooper's hair should be an accomplishment for you! I cannot even imagine the amount of hours you put into that. But, like you said, you'll get the hang of it, and it will become fairly easy.

thanks about the horses:) i worked pretty hard on those when I started, paintings too (which are available for download at TSR if you're ever interested in taking a look). Now, the horses are pretty simple, although tedious and also time consuming due to the amount of detail i like to put into it.

have you been to my blog lately? it's changed quite a bit! my screens blog is also up and running!

  10. Hey there xtina! I actually stopped by and see that you have a lot of blogs out there I didn't know about! I am going to have to spend a lot of time poking around.

The lot of yours...it is for a story line that I am not sure about yet not to mention having no idea where I will post it. Hoping it comes to fruition one of these days though.

  11. I can tell you that I update at least one of my blogs every day. if you visit my blog frequently, you wont be disappointed.

as for the lot, maybe you should send your self sim there for vacation. she can learn to ride a horse, which is theraputic in itself.

ps..i added gmail chat to my main blog! if i can get your email, we can chat on there sometime! i think it's way too cool.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
