~ Safe Harbor or Certain Death ~

This piece, although it is a collaboration of words and images by both of us, is dedicated to Beth.

I often wonder what if. That feeling of being lost in a vast ocean and then finding that constant, the one thing that guides you to safety and comfort.

I am rambling, in a very weird, emotional place. Beth and I have been working on this piece and it has been hard. Feelings dragged out of you that you want to shove back down. Helpless to fix what is broken because you can't. You just can't.

What if...

This piece has nudity and language so if you are offended by it, don't read.

Sessions 12 - Tangled Up in You

Song in the playlist is #12 by Staind, a love song that is bittersweet, much like this update.

  1. This is wonderful and terrible. No safe harbor. Not for anyone. Ok maybe Rafe but he makes his own rules, doesn't he?

    Thank you. for everything.

  2. He does make his own rules. He deserves it though.

This was one of my favorite shots. I loved it the minute you sent it.

No thanks needed. I could not have done any of this without you.

  4. You both did fantastic, especially given all the strain. Take a breath! It's well-deserved.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
