~ Spinning my Wheels ~
And spraying mud everywhere! I've had a few false starts lately with regard to my writing so I decided to contribute to Back 2 Basics with a download instead! It is a tribute to the 1-year anniversary of the SWA.

It should be base game compatible. You can find the download link at Back2Basics
In other news, I have a bit of Rising Above written as well as a start on Corinne's next adventure. Oh, and some ideas regarding Sessions. Also, for you Trekkies out there, my company is taking us to a private screening of the new Star Trek movie tomorrow at the Metreon in SF. It's an IMAX theatre (whatever that means since I have never been to one) but it should be fun! Live long and prosper! And for those of you patiently waiting for me to catch up on my reading...I'm getting there I promise.
In Perfect Harmony
In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

Congrats on one year of SWA! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd my fiance wants to see the Star Trek movie, if only because the dude who plays Sylar in Heroes is there. LOL. But an Imax? VERY COOL!
Hope you have fun!
I read somewhere that Karl Urban was going to play Scotty and when I saw his picture I didn't recognize him with the hair cut.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Heroes so I don't know who Sylar is but I guess I will tomorrow! We get special t-shirts (I don't wear t-shirts but I'm sure one of the boys would like it) and something was said about phasers (fazers? phazers? I don't know how you spell it) Should be fun and we get to go during work hours so I love it!
Arghh!! And thanks for the one year thing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Will download ASAP
ReplyDeleteI think Scotty is being played by the English actor from 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' Simon Pegg. Too bad it wasn't Karl Urban, he is hot.
Phasers. For heaven's sake...snicker....looking for mine and I know I left it around here someplace. Not that it actually shoots laser beams or whatever, but it makes a noise, and I do aim it at the dog.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has every single ST Hallmark Christmas tree decoration except the first one, because it costs like $1,000 or something. We have a ST tree. Beeping and flashing and everything.
Thanks Drew, glad you like the painting and yes you're right Karl Urban played Dr. McCoy...and quite well!
ReplyDeleteS.B. you have a ST Christmas tree? I never knew that...there was an entire cadre of phaser toting IT people at the theatre, we had the place to ourselves. And now that we are back at work, all hell has broken loose.
I'll post a review later, assuming I can find words...
yeah we do have an ST Christmas tree. Can't get much weirder than that!
ReplyDeleteAt least you manage to get ornaments on the tree. I am lucky if I get the lights on the last couple of years...
