~ Happy New Year ~

I had planned to have a really wonderful shot to post here but I am afraid my hardware issues have pretty much left me dead in the water. So I will leave you with a lone shot of my self-sim as she prepares to put the kids to bed early and spend an intimate evening alone with her man, eating fine food, drinking a delicious bottle of champagne with strawberries, and ringing in the new year doing what they do best. In the hot tub, on the beach, you get the picture.

Wishing for you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. It has been an extreme honor and pleasure knowing all of you through your stories, comments and especially your friendship this past year.

  1. Happy New Year to you too Gayl! Hope everything works out soon with your computer, the most frustrating thing is when something that should work-doesn't.

  2. Gayl, A very Happy New Year to you and yours, it too, has been and honour and privilege.
Look forward to 2009, and more storytelling from us all (computers permitting) and more fun and friendship, cheers!

Just got a email saying our new computer has been shipped, should be here next week!

  4. Karen, about the only thing I can do right now is write. At the very least, I can focus on that I suppose. You know how it goes, the plumber's pipes are always clogged, the computer technician's computer is always breaking...

Good luck with the new computer! Hope it goes smoothly for you.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
