September 3rd

There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go.

  2. Thank you Emily. It is a lovely quote. Better than what I had come up with.

Thanks also for the comment on the blog. It is a work in progress. I'm getting there slowly.

  4. Thanks Beth...I like the colors too. It's soothing and I think I am going through a green phase. I have green, purple, and creme colored sheers hanging in my room. OK trust me, it looks good. Darkish colors but very pretty.

  5. I love the color green! It's one of my favorite colors. Very nice.

And the quote is thought-provoking, as well.

  6. I always get melancholy on certain days of the year and tend to post things that are supposed to either make me feel better or express the hurt.

This date was my husband's birthday...

  8. Good quote Gayl. Expresses a lot of emotion and it seems for good reason.

And your blog is bright, inviting and well laid out! Great work!!

  9. That is such an inspirational quote. And definately true.

Also, I wanted to ask you if it was okay to link to For the Music for both the stories by yourself and Beth as the table of contents is so neatly labelled and linked and a fantastic idea for new readers too.

  10. Yes, absolutely! It would make much more sense to anyone who is new to the stories.

I was wondering if there was a link I could put up for you...perhaps the latest? Actually I will email you since I have a couple of other questions regarding links...

  11. Oh cool. I am just putting links at LJ right now but when I get a new blog up I will let you know. I wanted to do that greek one but as I was writing it .. I ended up going "Crap, this is way too heavy for a Sims 2 Story" - in terms of what is happening. It's too difficult to do because there's a lot of travelling involved, a lot of old ruins, mountainsides with a sweeping view of a valley and lots of old chipped artefacts that are a link to her past. I decided to just write it as it is. I am not sure if I will share it online though to be honest.

But yeah, pop me through an email and we'll discuss because of the new change in email and everything too.

  12. Sadly that is the way it is... we are not always happy with the things that happen around us, but we have to deal with them, for good or bad it all has a reason...oh well!

BTW I love the new template..

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
