Time in a Bottle

I really enjoy adding threads in my stories. It keeps it interesting to me and after all, they may be supporting characters but they still have lives. Unfortunately in focusing on one thread and its culmination, I let another one get skewed in terms of the ever-ignored-by-me time line. Bonni was pregnant during Cooper and Beth's wedding and I completely left her hanging there while Cooper and Beth welcomed a pretty baby named Rayne who you can see here.

So with that in mind I spent some time with Bonni and Slim and they have welcomed a handsome son named William. Here he is looking very much like his mama right now. You will see him toddling around in Chapter 20 if I ever finish it!

Please click on the images for a closer look. I haven't gotten around to modifying my blog as of yet.

  1. Beautiful baby boy! And born to two people who share such a close bond...

Will does look just like his mama, who is gorgeous! And I love the multi-colored quilt he's lying on.

No, I am not going to start matchmaking from the cradle! Although it's a bit hard to avoid fantasizing about it!

  2. He is handsome isn't he? The multicolored quilt came from MTS2. I think there were several recolors of it that I thought I downloaded but apparently I didn't which is surprising given my addiction to downloads. I'll find the link and send it if you want.

And great minds think alike with regard to the matchmaking! I thought the very same thing...

  3. and another Taurus...full blown, no doubt about it, no cusp or anything to water down that brute force, nothing stands in my way mentality.

I'm really going to enjoy seeing this little boy grow up!

  4. I know...it should be very interesting to watch him grow as well as all of the next generation. Although Will is a cutie for certain there is only one little boy who has my heartstrings firmly in his little fists.

  5. Well, in medieval times, babies were betrothed in the cradle! LOL! I know what match you are thinking of, that would be lovely!
I don't know about you, but as soon as a baby is born in my game, my finger itches to 'grow them up' immediately! LOL! Can't stand toddlers in my game!

  7. LOL! Karen you are too funny. I know what you mean about toddlers and I get the itch to grow them up fast too. But for story purposes they need to toddle a while longer.

And leave it to you to know about betrothing babies in medieval times. That is why your period pieces are so well done!

  8. That baby is uber gorgeous! Man, I don't remember the last time any of my sims had a child. Must be .. nigh over a year ago or more.

  9. Thanks Anghard! He is beautiful. Usually they don't look quite that good but Will surprised me a lot. And look at his parents; no surprise he came out handsome.

I am very curious about what he will look like when he gets older and just what his personality will be. He has two strong parents so it will be interesting.

In Perfect Harmony

In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

In dreams, the sun sets in our eyes
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
