I think I am satisfied with what I have written for chapter four of Dark December. Now I need to get the tricky in-game shots. No idea how long that is going to take.
I have noticed that my writing does not always lend itself to easy picture taking in the game. Hacks are great for poses but maneuvering around the lots, getting the right angle, situating Sims in the right spot, avoiding walls and furnishings, all complicated. Thankfully my Sims cooperate, more or less. Unlike a certain young man I can think of LOL!
Don't even get me started on uploading them to the blog. I still have nightmares about the last time when I ended up blowing up chapter two images! *shudder*

In Perfect Harmony
In June of 2007 I posted my first chapter of Dark December. Since that time, the story has evolved and changed in part through a collaboration that developed and lasted over 4 years. During this time a friendship was forged. Thank you Beth, for unwavering friendship, support, and generosity over these last 4+ years. It has been a journey I will never forget.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."
In dreams, we'll never be apart
In dreams, I'll promise you'll never be alone
How much I wish your voice could send me home
The game limitations are very frustrating. There are many normal animations that are almost impossible to capture, even after hours of tinkering with hacks. I always end up changing the writing somewhat.
ReplyDeleteYes, young man throws a hissy fit all the time, LOL!
I know what you mean. I use slowmotion cheat a lot just to capture the normal reactions but even then, it's difficult at best!
